AP Physics is a continuation of Honors Physics at PHHS. We will begin with Optics and continue through Modern Physics. We will not go back and cover material from Mechanics (kinematics, dynamics, momentum, work and energy conservation, waves and sound), although you are fully expected to use the information to solve problems that we will tackle this year. There will be a focus on solving problems from old AP exams, in order for you to become familiar with the format and style used on the exam which you will be taking in May 2012.

We will cover the following chapters this year. Click on the Chapter to go to the webpage with course materials.
