A Very Exciting Time to be in Education

 

Welcome to a very exciting time in the history of the Pascack Valley Regional High School District. In 2004, the district embarked on a project that has dramatically changed the way education takes place.  Our 1:1 Laptop eLearning Initiative provides a district owned laptop computer for every student and teacher.  Coupled with effective professional development, the district has brought engaging and exciting 21st century teaching and learning to the desktop of every student.

 

In this Web site we have included a program description, an outline of the process we undertook, the educational research we used to support our goals, a listing of our very important corporate partners, and the critically important professional development program that is presently in place.  To the left, you will also find links to other areas of the Department of Instructional Technology, including an overview of the department, our current Three-Year Technology Plan, a Parent Resources section, and links to our district's Technology Steering Committee.
